It's not just a space interceptor, it'll be an atmospheric fighter, and the wings would be a neccesary redundancy in case the anti-G sytem was ever damaged.
Plus, it looks cooler with wings...

exactly, one reason I'm not so keen on the puddle jumper design. which is why ill probably go a completely different route to the atlantis puddle jumper when I design mine. Pics of preliminary stages of my starbase coming soon by the way (it's gonna be massive to say the least lol)

Been making my way through the thread over the past few days, it has taken some time, still have not look at all pages..Some great designs on here.


But here something I started a few months ago, no where near finished, it was suppose to be a copy of the aurora class ancient ship, unfortunately it came out wrong so now it a variant of the ancient warship.

Design to take on wraith cruisers, and may be even the odd hive.
