| Ok here are my doodlings of the ship idea that i've named the Deep Space Tactical Carrier-310... ![]() As you can see it's a carrier design with two bay doors on each wing, though each wing is only one hanger. I've tried to draw the -304 hangers in front to show the size difference (The scribbled drawing is a different ship that i've thought of that i wanted to check the size). It's hyperdrive capable (those little boxes on the back are the hyperspace exhausts) and can carry about forty fighters in each hanger bay. I've not added any greebles on the op as i'm undecided what to include (Whoever tries this can do what they'd like up there) but i was considering having a cargo ship pad that drops into the ship so that the ship can be loaded/unloaded wh9ile in space. The middle section is just like the -304s in shape, but without the sloping sides. (i hope i explained that all properly enough |

| SFM Guru | it's strange that you would come up with this design, I did start a rough model of something very similar to this the other day. There's not much point me posting anything of it at this point as it really is just a series of cubes and cuboids at the moment but I'll see what I can do |

| I've also started on my own little design too. I say little... this ship is (hopefully ) going to be huge, bigger than the Daedalus. The hangars on the top of the wings are comparable to the size of the landing pods on BSG's Galactica.Codenamed X-3000. Any suggestions for names? |

| SFM Guru | ok here is an update of where im at with the new argo. To be honest, I think the whole design has changed sufficiently to call it something different. After having seen the SG1 finale (i wont give details for the benefit of those who havent yet seen it) ive decided to name it Asgard class, with this particular ship being named Thor (General ONeill kinda returning the favour!) I have also decided that maybe the timeline for my ships is going to be a bit earlier than 17 years. Anyway, heres the pic. PS sorry for the awful grammar in this message, my keyboard has decided it doesnt like viewing SFM in firefox anymore and whenever I press the apostrophe key it brings up the quickfind instead, not helpful! *EDIT* PPS Im so fecking rude. Raffs and SGA great work on both those ships guys, cant wait to see more |
