That makes much more sense lol.

We have discussed this idea before wolverine, one problem we have is the fact that people are using different programs to create the models, and most models probably wouldnt export too well without an expert doing them (Max sure hates a lot of other files)

It was based off of a puddle jumper concept posted somewhere in this thread I think..anyone know who posted it or what post it is?

yes it does

yeah we have talked about doin somthin like that before and I agree that it would take quite alot of doing to pull it off but like scorpius said the problem is that most everyone uses a differnt program and they are not all compatable with eachother.

CVF-308 "Hammond" assult carrier, ment to hold its own and thats exactly what it does. it would be a good idea not to get on the bad side of this ship

Europa Update

Ok, here is an update to the Europa. Does the front look better? What was it that you didn't like about it before?

1.) redid the front, changed slope angle, added bottom piece
2.) remodelled the back side pieces to better reflect the front section
3.) added roof pieces to "common" rooms
4.) added side struts to center hull section
5.) added accent pieces to bottom of "common" room sections
6.) added center divider to nose grill
7.) added support structure underneath "common" rooms (unseen in image)

Will be doing the following:
A.) Windows to side of center hull - sparsely and random
B.) More greebles to top center hull
C.) greebles and a few windows to sides of center hull in depressed area
D.) add "clamping" locations to the entrance doors so ramps can be secured

I can't decide what to do to the slanted sections in the back sides. Any suggestions? Overall though, does it look better? And can you see the Prometheus influence at all? I've tried to have that influence while keeping it original at the same time. C&C?!?

true, although if need be, blender can import a ton of files, and clean them up abit even...

3ds obj and lwo are all common, those are easy, so i could import them, save them as a file and export them into lwo or object format, or even do a blank background render, and let someone do the rest of background and fx in photoshop of choice...

I started work on some parts that will go into making a bridge for the Tempest.

This is the first part and it's still a wip itself.

Enjoy

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those projects that take awhile but in the end will be very worth it.
