Actually, the Asgard ship present at the second Ori supergate was NOT an O'Neill class. It was actually an Asgard science vessel. Here's the evidence:

http://www.gateworld.net/sg1/s9/920.shtml

Apparently, the Asgard are updating their ships. First it was the O'Neill class, then the Daniel Jackson class. So it's not a stretch that the Science vessels would be upgraded as well. Possibly the D-J class was the new science ship. This could explain why the Asgard haven't been around lately.

I thought that the Asgard ship looked a bit small too, until I read through several articles. Then it all started to make sense. I've seen it stated as such from several other places as well. I visually counted the segements of the second Ori supergate and came up with 92. The orignial Ori supergate had 80 segments.

Just my 2 cetns.

She should not sit in drydock so much of the time.
No kidding. Very nice job Raffs! Put her in for a refit? Did you forget to put in bathrooms too? I see that it is a little different than a standard Daedalus class. Is it a new class entirely, or a modified Daedalus class? You really did a good job with the surface details. Got any more ships?

Thanks man
The reason for a possible refit is that she was my first mesh with lightwave and there are some parts that i could do so much better now

The old girl was ment to be the next step up from the deadalus hence she still resembles the deadalus but has bigger guns ( 4 turrets with energy based weapons and 27 quad rail gun turrets and 56 missile tubes)
as for any more ships heres some pics of my F-302

Cool Great Job guys!

Raffs, dude, suh-weet! You even have scratches on the paint, nice touch! Is this just your hobby or are you a pro?

Specs2, VERY nice! Another good example of how to model a ship right.

Damn, you guys are good! I'm jealous. Keep'em coming!

Now now mikala your dart mesh is way above any of mine and the texture work you did on specs hive ship was awesome i've got specs hive ship mesh but could not hope to match that.
