I did the background in photoshop. Its actually modified from a tutorial I found online on how to do hyperspace windows.

The ship in the lower left is my U.S.S. Centaur. Its a drop ship that is able to hold up to 100 military personnel and up to 2 ATV's.

Well... technically i haven't broken my first resolution.... I started this litle thing last year (11:30PM New Years eve)

I've been fiddling with different Helicopter ideas in SG. First go ended up like this...

And i hated it... it really didn't look anything like i was seeing in my head. it was mainly the nose and cockpit of the ship. This is version 2...

And with the weapon pods open

One pilot, nothing bigger than asgard shields and jumper derived engines. 14 missiles and six bombs. Not sure of what type of missiles and bombs are to be loaded into this (I might raid freekzilla's missile list he posted a while back, with his permission of course). twin barreled gattling gun (of sorts) is located underneath the cockpit.

I see this more as an atmospheric ship more than a space craft, though it will be capable of both space travel and Atmospheric exit/entry. I also see this as kinda an escort to my Gatejumper.

EDIT- just did a right side render to show exactly where the pilot is located and the relative size of the ship...

Cool designs guys!
I love that Helo. Maybe it should be slightly larger though?(And perhaps a tiny bit wider). If it could fit two people side by side at the window(Maybe one guy further to the front, down low, and the guy behind slightly raised up), then there would be room behind them for maybe six passengers(Three on either side facing inwards), and their gear. That would TRULY make it a candidate for an earth-built Jumper.
Don't get me wrong though: I LOVE IT!

as par with all your other posts.... cool!!! i want a Typhon.

I'm not sure whether i should put a fixed landing gear onto the Helo or retractable wheels....

Which should i go for?

If it's Asgard-derived anti-grav, then just go for some fixed landing gear that is aerodynamic, like the Hornet from HALO3:
