Yup, ive left them out at the moment cos it help with scale, but those will need to be closed for loading and unloading the dropships, plus maintenance, so doors and shields will be in place.
Anyone got ideas for names? Both my ships need them.
Oh yeah, and I need refs for railguns, cant find any yet

Mmmm....pie, drool

Well I got some of the parts back. Unfortunately I have to apologize for the really crappy pictures. My camera decided to break and all I had on hand was my cell phone so thats what you get for now. Sorry.

I think I'm going to go back and redo some of the paneling because the printer didn't pick up some of the detail I was looking for but its no biggie. I have a feeling the less the better for the prints. But at least I got the model complete so I can work on some renders and stuff. I should have it all printed by next weekend, I'll keep you up to date.

Hey Bar, That hatak looks like its going to be fun. Also what size have you figured the hatak to be, 750M? and the 304 450M?

Almost forgot. I also started on my Puddle Jumper. My goal for this is to make a full interior and working engine pods.

Actually, i make the D 575 metres long, including the antennae.

And the accepted sizing for the Hat'Tak is about the same.
I have seen episodes where Hat'Taks are bigger than Odyssey, and i have seen episodes where Odyssey is bigger than Hat'Taks. I decided to split the diff and make them about the same length...
And good work with your D, by the way.
Bar.

wow nice models guys !! That hatak looks sweet
I was under the impression that hataks are like twice the size of the daedalus, I think I saw an episode where it actually was huge compared to the daedalus

Totally!
And the reverse is also true: I watched an episode yesterday where the Odyssey was CLEARLY half again as long as a Hatak...
That is the Hatak was only about 2/3rds the size of Odyssey...
Being that the scales are changed so much, i decided to make mine the same size.
Not everyone will be happy at that, of course.
Bar.

Looks great.... can't wait to see them finished. I've noticed you've been a bit quiet on the mesh front, RL getting in the way?
