I'm not keen on the tower of the base. It looks too plain to me. Other than that! Fantastic! Really like the shape.

The next ship off my little rebuilding line is the Deep Space Patrol-401 Archer-Class.....

The other rebuilds have mainly consisted of retaining the main bulk of the ship and rebuilding the rest..... The Archer has been rebuilt from the ground up, new engines, new main hull, new panels.... etc.

The BSG influence in the engine pod was slightly intended. I tried out the style and found i liked how it looked The panel-less spots on the nose are going to be filleed with a load of Radar and comunications stuff... stuff i've still got to try and decide on yet.

You may notice the lack of a glow on the lower drive pods in the rear view.... I've not got an idea why that's come up. Same material should mean same result when one efet is placed on the material... but as you can see

Wow, first time Ive seen the thread on the second page, hope this aint necroposting.
Anywho nice ship Dr Lee, you can tell its part of the same lineage as your Thor class (the wolf-like one), and I like the BSG influence.
Boberth your ship gets better each time I see it.
Havent had much time myself for my own ships due to exams and last minute coursework, but Ive made a quick start on my battleship and scout/blockade runner. No pics yet cos there literally blocks and Ive havent decided the final shape.

Mmmm....pie, drool

that they do.

been flitting about a bit throughout my long list of unfinished stuff. Repaneled the GateJumper, adding the X-699 beams on the hull, plus fiddling with the interior. Taken a look at the Fast Attack Ship/Blackbird-ish ship, and now i've reached this little thing...

I've rejigged the cargo bay to hold a pair of Abram's and a pair of Hummvees. It's lost it's Missile firing capabilities in return as the hold has extended up a deck. I've also widened the ship as a whole... might have to fix the rear cuz of it

The Abrams and Hummer aren't mine by the way.

I agree, nice work. Never really thought about the Tau'ri taking their ground war veichles to other planets, I know we've seen MALPs and the like, so why not tanks and hummers. Nice work
Which ship was this again though, I cant remeber the old design....if it is one.

Mmmm....pie, drool

it's a new thing i've been fiddling with for a while now. Got bored one day and just started messing about... ended up with the ships rough shape.
