OK, let me just render a quickie...

Here we go.... still fiddling aobut with this thing, i might rejig the panelling on the engines, they look a bit big atm and i might switch to the clean green hull version.

I am also seperately building an interior for the GJ... but that's still some way off from being finished as i'm struggling on how to do the main consoles

New ship... Again

Simply known as the Escort Class Version 2 (I've got an older design i've not done much with past the basic shape building).

Designed to be attached to larger ships, like a 304, and my Carriers... plus the large battleship i've got in my head. Crew of 8 in 2 shifts of four (The 'down' shift would be stationed aboard whatever the Escort is Escorting and beamed across by the Escort itself during shift changes.

8 3/4 sized railguns
2 beam weapons
8 missile pods containing four missiles each (32)
Asgard hyperdrive, shields and beams.

ummm... It's in the vein of most of my other ships in being a single deck (Though the deck is split in to two levels seperated by a single step.

105 foot long (From tip to tip)
45 foot wide
13.5 foot tall

Are the quarters underneath the eight panels midway back?

There aren't any crew quarters on the ship above.... the crew not on shift would be stationed on whatever ship the Escort is currently Escorting.

Below is a quick render i've done against the Prommie that Col-Dillon has made available in the Downloads section on here.

That's cool. But the quarters thing would need to be addressed.
So, a crew does a shift. Then goes and does ANOTHER shift on the escorted
ship without rest, then comes BACK onto the ship to do another shift?
At best, there would need to be four beds, and perhaps three rotations of four, with one set of crew sleeping in their racks while the other two are working.

Ah... i see what you meant... no, the 'Down' shift would be resting on the escorted ship while the ohter shift would be working. I'm thinking of 6 hour shifts with the crew doing 2 shifts per 'day'

The ship would also be used for missions lasting less that 16 hours
