Ahh.
I see.
I thought you meant the down shift would be guarding the other ship...
I get it now.

Nice ships Dr Lee and Boberth, whats Boberth's called though? Looks like a heavier version of your other one.

Ive finally made an actual attempt at my scout/anti-fighter ship. It is called the Gale class, only 75m long and armed with railguns and extremely fast. The shape is inspired by the Conestoga class I saw in "Golden minatures" thread, which i figured would be a good scout-like shape for Stargate. Anywho here is the basic shape, probs wont change much so, its just the details n such. Ive included a comparison with my Inferno class for those that remember it.

Well the one on top is a remake of the Lazarus, and the other one is the USAF Morpheus.

I like the one on top of the first image Pheonix

Thanks Boberth, the one on top is my Inferno Class, I made it a couple of weeks back.

Yeh, I remember your Lazarus, its a mighty fine ship. The Morpheus looks to be its bigger brother, cant wait to see the finish

Mmmm....pie, drool

thanks, I think that you should use a program to render it, sketchup just doesn't give models the justice that they diserve. Blender works well.

Update, I pretty much completed the forward nose section.

Looking good

I have both Blender and Bryce, but Im still learning so SketchUp will remain for a while.

Quick update on the Gale Class, main details are done, just a bit of panelling and some greebles

EDIT: I got bored and pannelled the ship to within an inch of its life, not finished but i stopped cos of overusing the offset tool.
