I hope to eventually animate them. It will have to be one at a time because I don't think many of us have the computing power to render animations at 720x480, 30fps ultra-fine anti-aliasing, ray tracing , and zero compression. That way I can also do the special effects. I have 2 programs that I can use together to get the effects I want, one for compositing and some special effects, the other is purely special effects. I only have 4 machines to render with, 3 of them not that fast. Gone are the days when I had the use of 30 machines to render with.

This will have to wait though, I still haven't finished my Tau'ri fleet yet, and I haven't even started on my "bad guy" fleet yet. I'm going with the Goa'uld for bad guys. Haven't decided yet as to whether make them straight Goa'uld or Wraith hosted Goa'uld. Think this way: Apophis's super ship crossed with a Wraith Cruiser, and Dart/Death Glider hybrids. (aka - the Death Dart)

I litterally have pages and pages of notes of things I wanna do. It just takes a while when you are doing them alone. I have this really cool idea for a Puddle Jumper/F-302 hybrid type of vehicle but it's far beyond my modeling skills right now. Too many complex angles and subsurfaces. Oh well, I'll get there when I get there. Unless you want to help with that one?

and I must agree with Zake- these are excellent pics.
I've been looking at screencaps for Ethon, and other episodes which feature the Prometheus.

All I can say is, its very confusing. There are pictures where the "enterance" is completely sealed off, and some, where it isn't. Some where there is a blue glow coming from somewhere inside it, mainly when the ship is in hyperspace. There is also a difference between the front of the pods, in both Ethon and Prometheus Unbound. Here are a couple of the screenshots;

ethon0120.html
PU_817.html
PU_307.html

Suggests to me either the cgi crew messed up, or the pods can be changed. I've looked at every episode I can remember the Prometheus in. And Ethon Is the only one I've seen with different pods.

in earlier episodes, those pods were really the hyper drive modules, but after some advancements and asgard help, the hyperdrive could be transfered into the ship, giving room for the F302 hangars.
