Don't know if it's been asked, but does it fit through a stargate, or is it too wide? Maybe retractable or folding wings.
It's too wide to fit through gate. However, Sprite is primary space combat fighter with limited capability of atmospheric flight. Sprite is very vurnelable in air, but also very powerfull in space.

OMG A SAAB Hammerhead and a 302 had a baby!

I like the top look of the sprite, but the bottom triangular structure just doesn't jive with the rest of the ship. I think a little redesign there would be ideal.

With the grav systems etc, its atmospheric performance shouldn't suffer hardly at all. It could be smaller just because its a shorter range fighter unlike the larger 302's that are more of a interceptor/fighter bomber. Think of the 302 as a F-15E or a F-14 and the sprite as a F-16.

Hi-Lo mix as they say.

We are doing the snail mail thing too. We also have a site being set up so we can flood SciFi's switch board with complaints as well. We are also doing a tissue box campaign. Why tissue boxes? It's from Season 1, "Children of the gods". Jack wants to see if Daniel is still alive, so he grabs a tissue box and sends it through the gate to Abydos. Daniel dials back and the box comes through with this written in black marker, "Thanks, Send more." We are doing the same thing. I think, about 40 boxes have already been sent. And we have about 117 more that will be sending them in to SciFi channel. Some are as far away as Australia. We already have over 10,000 signatures on the petition. Even if you take out double signers, we STILL have a boat load of people's signatures. Even my parents signed it. And this is all in just one day. As soon as I have the sites url I'll post it. So we are attacking this from several angles. Snail mail, online petition, tissue boxes, phone calls, anything we can think of. If anything, we'll prove to MGM that SG-1 is still wanted and it is still strongly supported. Hopefully they will fight for it as strong as we are. Keep your fingers crossed.

Spread the word guys. Getting as many people as possible will help.

The site just got up. It still needs work. But atleast it has links to other sites that are also supporting the movement.

It has the address information you might need or want. It's also trying to raise some money for those that can afford it, but it is not necessary. I myself have raised $98 bucks to contribute. I just need $2 more to make a $100 donation. I've gotten my family to get in the act too. And they live 500 miles away. Other sites that have the same idea are still being contacted to join together. This is still getting off the ground. Lots of work to do yet.
