Hey Unregistered,

Today we upgraded scifi-meshes.com's vbulletin software to the very latest version available. This upgrade addressed a few security holes and optimized a few processes which should reduce the load on the server and make your visit here just bit more responsive. As always, we have to review our site after an update to ensure we haven't lost functionality so please bare with us.

Additionally we will be updating our header today with new graphics from the users of scifi-meshes.com (Submission Thread) and we will also be adding in a new MOBILE template which will make surfing scifi-meshes.com via your mobile device a snap. The "mobile" template removes a lot of extras, but keeps things looking nice and formatted for the screens on a mobile device. The template is now online for SFM and is visible via your mobile device. We are working on the colors now.

3D WIPs Post your works-in-progress (WIPS) and lets be open to suggestions.

I've been neglecting the stories for a while now but i'm getting back into the game. The models i've been fooling around with since i started writing the damn thing.

Cool, It'd be nice to see some still pics, or even small vids of some of the battle sceens. I really liked those stories, they were the first fan fics I've read in a while. The battle sceens were very well written, you could see the Star Wars influence in them, which I really liked.

Thanks. I've varied interests so my influences are vast.

attached is an composite still of a battlescene that i've been adding to a little bit at a time. Its turning out quite well, I think. (I know it should go in the 2D WIP section but its just 1 image.)

At the moment, its very bright and colorful but i'm leaning towards making it a litle moodier.

What say you?

Finally
Got the BattleCruiser Class ready.

It's called the RHodeidra, is 2 times as big as the D and has no fighters but enough guns and missiles to take on a cople of wraith or a few dozen Ha'Taks at full powah.

Yes it still sucks but i'm new at this.
(please don't mock me)

It's a mix between the Big D and the BattleCruisers from Homeworld 2.

Mostly armed with smaller gauss guns and has 6 big-ass guns with the new asgard tech (yay !!)

O and if you want to know why the hell i made this with screen shots thats beause my trial of AC3D (program i used just ran out so i cant save or anyting.... anybody here can recommend me a possibly better program ? preffed cheap/free

Here is the beginning of that Ori Prior concept I drew up a while back.
Modeled it yesterday up to this point...Any one else having a hard time accessing the site?
