Wow...nice but I think it would look better if you could reduce what appears to be film grain?

Of create a smaller attack vessel that you could carry in there, none hyperspace capable so the power can be used for shielding and weapons and explains why they're carried within this huge carrier vessel. Just a thought. I love both those designs anyway.

Also, what program do you use Zake?
It carries 56 f-302s, 16 pegasus utility ships, ships and 6 teltacs. It was originally able to carry the Thor, but I had to scale the Thor up because I made some miscalculations making the hangars. I guess I could make some sort of gunship it could carry.

And I use Google sketchup.

Hi

I´ve been messing around with my AA-Frigate that I posted a while ago. And I came up with a name for it: "Leonidas" of the Sparta-Class. [Leo. was a king of the spartans, leading their outnumbered forces in combat against an superioir persian army] I think it fits well, as the odds are mostly against the Ta'uri.
The main hull is completed, but the 2 outbording(?) engines are still missing. as you can see i added a bit extra plating to the bow and the command-section as these are sections that are essential to survive in combat. well...
Still a lot of detailing and greebling and stuff...
Hope you like, but if not, especially if not let me know.(with a reason)
bye

New Ship - Paladin Class

Well, I started this last night. An idea popped into my head and I couldn't let it go. I call it the Paladin Class. It's very similar to the Daedalus class, except that it is smaller. Think of it as a Daedalus Jr., or the Mini-Me of Daedalus's.

180-190 meters long
~170 wide
45 meters tall (from lowest to highest points, excluding antennas)

18 standard sized railguns, double barreled
4 double barrel Plasma Pulse Cannons, lite version
6 Mk. 5 Nuclear tipped long range missles
Standard Asgard Tech package

2 F-302B's in each bay (total of 4) OR 1 F-302 and 1 Mosquito Class each bay.
50 crew

Basically, this is a continuation of my theory that the SGC would start building smaller, yet more advanced, and most importantly cheaper and faster to build ships. I've already staked out a few additional names for additional ships:

U.S.S. Paladin
U.S.S. Bulldog
U.S.S. Rhino
U.S.S. Icarus (Seemed fitting since there is a Daedalus)

She's not a big ship, but she is tough. She uses the exact same power core that the Daedalus uses, and because it is smaller, it draws much less power for the engines, sub light and hyperspace window generator, shields, and ship operations. So, since she has more power reserves, she can go faster or have stronger shields than a Daedalus class.

I actually used the Daedalus and a, get this it's funny, a Klingon Bird of Prey, as inspiration. Right now, it's about 75% done. Lots of tweaking to do, and adding the small details.

C&C?
