SGA may be getting a new type of battle cruiser

""A new ship has arrived in Atlantis from Earth: the Apollo, commanded by the brusque and take-charge military officer, Colonel Abe Ellis (possibly a recurring character next season)""

The main hull is completed, but the 2 outbording(?) engines are still missing. as you can see i added a bit extra plating to the bow and the command-section as these are sections that are essential to survive in combat. well...
Still a lot of detailing and greebling and stuff...
Hope you like, but if not, especially if not let me know.(with a reason)
bye
I like it.
Could we see it against a black background to more easily pick out the details?

Sweet.
I know it's not what you meant, but i have thought of the possibility of using the Hangars from the Daedalus class, with just a small command section on top, as fast mobile carriers. Did you consider making a totally different front section at all?(Just for a change?)
It still looks good. I can't wait to see scale comparison pics.

The info about the Apollo is on Gateworld.net. Great website, mainly for stargate but does have a lot of useful info about other sci-fi series as well. And it's the best place to find info about upcoming episodes of stargate if you don't mind the spoilers.

Zake I like the hurricane, a fighter is next on my list of things to do.

Lord Ravensburg nice lookin ship there, you can definately see the different elements from all the races there. Any background as to why they've got elements of all the races in there?

I wanna chllange you on calling Gateworld a great website. there have been a lot of mistakes in spoilers that they put up with along wih the hell-hole that they call their forums.

Nowadays if i see any infomation on there i go and check on other stargate sites (such as SG1-Solutions).

It's not very detailed, and still lacks missiles.

Well spoilers ive read on gateworld have always been pretty much right on the money, Ive only been visiting it over the past couple of seasons of sg1 and atlantis so I cant comment on anything previous to that. I don't go on their forum so i cant comment on that either

How about a rotating-stack system like they used in STEALTH?
Basically, the weapons hatch opens, down drops the stack, rotates till the correct weapon is at the bottom, launches it, and retracts into the hull again:
