Thats what I was meaning, asking what you meant

Maybe they might, but it would have to be conected to some sort of bay to move large objects in or out.

Maybe something like the bay the large bomb is kept in on the Apollo?

I was going to suggest that after events in the Sg-1 finale they might finally have a sort of tractor beam? But I love the idea of a bay like that

Thanks Lord Trekie *makes Vulcan Slaute...welll would if i could * Starburst and Scootes.

well for the arm i was thinking maybe a tractor beam on a stick ie: instead of have tractor beam hard pionts, have one on the end of an arm that can move through all the axis that'd sit on top of the ship doing the jobs the one on the shuttle does, but with more fancy equipment....

Anyway, as you all started saying "Bomb Bays" i decided to start on the underside, with some more plates and greebles. The Hatch i'd think would be used more for dropping probes and equipment, sort of like a moon pool on a ship.

what do you think? good ideas, or complete rubbish? Comments and Crits always helpful

For some reason your image wont appear I love the idea for putting a tractor emitter at the end of the arm though

Update!

Thanks guys. I added an alternate link for the dodgy pic if anyone can still not see it

1) Okay, got a bit side tracked and fleshed out the bomb bay (although its technacally a moon pool as it holds no bombs!)

and yes, i do need to improve my rendering/lighting/camera skills...
If anyone could post a few suggestions on how i could improve, please do. Be a great help

And a 2) sketch of what the ships probes would look like. Think something between the US Armys UAV's and SpaceShipOne.

C&C always welcome

(p.s: before anyone asks: the actual bay doors are in the shop ATM! K? )
