Well the ribs are a detail choice, they add to the overall look. Much like adding a model car axel to the SSD did. However they also serve another purpose. damage control - aka flak barriers.

It does indeed, that is why I like the Galactica (and I am sure also your Sirius once it is ready) more than the Pegasus, was just wondering if there was a story behind it.

Looks great. I've been wondering when someone would do another class of Battlestars.

I do believe the current Galactica was supposed to be a part of the first class of Battlestars.

You might make this one the next class built during the original war or just after it.

I'd like to see both the big gun turrets like the beast and bucket have as well as the smaller AA guns Galactica has.

First off, thank you very much.
Secondly, I am going to be making high poly versions for those areas which I'd be more than happy to add to the main pod for a render once I get them going
