I know the feeling...takes a long time to model something good juggling RL like that. Still, I'm beginning two BSG ships of my own, so maybe we can get them all done by late February? May seem like a long time, but my last good model, the spector, took nearly 2 months.

sounds like a deal, hobbes. If you have max, you're welcome to the sirius when she's completed.

Thanks, I'm honoured! It would actually be a first for me to create any artwork or animations with anyone else's mesh...now I have to get off my butt and get to work on mine so I can catch up!

How are the normal weapons going to be positions? With lots of forward facing weapons, or side on weapons?

Going to say, if its going to be designed to jump-in and fire everything its got at the target in front, would it be a good idea to have forward launching nukes? Don't necessarily have to go with the galactica's nuke launch bay scheme. Forward facing direct delivery system would be the win in my eyes. Open the bay doors, nukes don't have to be set into a "launch position" like the galacticas, and bombs away. Quick nuke strike.

Setting a time frame will do one of two things. Cost you a girlfriend when the work load becomes top heavy, or you will cut corner to come in on time. It's your project. When its done, its done.

Build it to standard. Not to budget/schedule. We all want to see your best.

around 40.

Quick update, more of a texture update. Unfortunently I didn't have the time to render a larger image to show it off, but ya.

Meh, small images are good for me, since my highspeed is flaky atm, and dial up is SOOOOO slow. And Hobbes, are either of your BSG designs here on SFM? Sorry about the little aside.
