Cheers.

Interested to see how people achieve the various render results they do.

Thanks

Thats just a basic light setup for wip images. Pretty standard in my wips.

As for the flight decks, well I'll meet ya half way here! How about I promise that my next capital ship will be a battlestar?

I miss those flight pods..really nice I thought.
Still I do think your stubby design is really nice too..it's just a shame to chuck away the flight pods, quite frankly.

Looks good, but it's missing something. It may be a Strikestar, but it still needs some landing bays for shuttles and the like. I would suggest short pods on the sides, but tucked in close, or low. It will give the ship more versatility, and interior room for storage of extra warheads. As someone else suggested, one pod could even be a weapons pod. Nothing quite like a broadside barrage. If the pods are slung low, it would allow docking below the wedge head rather then from the sides, but keep it protected by being in close to the body. I'd do a sketch, but no scanner or art paper right now. And not that skilled with the 3d programs yet.

Could have a landing bay intergrated into the front or side of the ship, that way the vessel wouldn't need flight pods but could still recieve ships for personel and equipment transfers.

I will be looking forward to your Battlestar when you make it.

Have it underneath! It is in space so aerodynamics don't come into play at all.

The pod is very well modeled, any chance of a wireframe?
