| Luckly composition is not in my hands ![]() My main concern is the modeling/texturing/lighting. But most likely the order should be totaly reversed to lighting/texturing/modeling. Last one being almost finished. |

| Well its update time. Scaled and tweaked the design a tad. Overall Chair is now as comfy as possible. 65% complete ![]() - modeling - just a tad more wall detail and ceiling. - and texturing. I can see the end on the horizon (that and the deadline :P) Updates comming this week |

| Very cool model! This would look much nicer with some soft shadows or even better a nice raydiosity render! (or even some ambient occlusion renders) |

| i'll see about soft shadows, but with regards to GI. Theoreticaly its allready there. The final production will be done in Cinema4d, so the team will have to do GI by them sleves. My main concern is lighting/direction/color and textues. These parts will transfer from Blender to Cinema. GI will not ![]() But I'll try to tweak the available GI like ambient oclusion to tweak it some more. Update comming tomorrow. |

| SFM Guru | This really looks great so far! But I think the ambient light should be reduced. The Light on the actors is coming from the upper right somewhere, and the rest of the actors which is not directly lit is much darker than the surrounding scene. And In the scene there doesnt seem to be a primary light. Also if you compare the girl's lightning and shadows to the chair, lightning seems a bit off. But anyway thats great work. Far above my abilities |
| If Windows is the solution may I please get back the problem? | |

| Well a small update with regards to lighting. And since i'm on a business trip, i'm slaving now on a Pentium M system, and renders take... forever. Miss my home system. Also i'll take into consideration about baking the textures. right now they are blender shaders anyways. But that will be fixed. in the near future (next week) So... Update 68% -lighting todo -lighting -texturing -small some modeling (but not much.. i hope) |

| That's a definite improvement with the lighting, it might just be me but there seems to be too many shadows being cast, maybe you could turn off a few of the shadows? I'm not actually a big fan of baking shaders, they don't always come out that great, unless they're really, really huge. As you know C4D has plenty of great procedural shaders, so it shouldn't be too hard to recreate the textures |
