Damn 450k polys. Can see why you need to use bounding boxes. Looks real sweet with the back end included now...

Thanks, and although it took about 7 minutes to render, this next image might show where some of those polys have gone, the very observant of you might notice the cockpit rivits.

****... Are there rivets all over, or just the cockpit?.. I`m guessing there`s quite a few polys used on those beautiful engines too.

Just the cockpit, yeah the engines have a lot of polys, each surface is chamfered.

Hehe, I usually just use a 5 sided polygon with a top. The top being tapered. Seems to do the job fine without using to many polys.

WOW... very nice mate... I hate the fact that max gets so damn slow when hitting the 400-500k polycount... lightwavers don't seem to have that problem
