very nice mate.

you know you could make some changes to the top and have it as, a relay station.
then you wuld have finished one model here.Before the full station is finished.

Damn *sobs* *deletes folder*

It's all reflection blurs, and it's rendered in LW native. It's a little grainy as I didn't go mad with the AA and lowered the quality setting, otherwise it would take a billion years to render This was slow as it was

ah nice, top quality as usual, i can gather 1 of those holes in the top is a turboshaft deal, the other 6 power/communication/data tubes?

Cheers guys!

At the moment those are turboshafts, but there aren't 6 - they are a changeover/hold area, as the position of the shaft changes as it goes down the tube... for one, in their mid core positions they'd have to be outside the hull, if they were extruded down to there! It was a close fit to get them in the narrow point!

The central shaft is a feature which runs down the whole length of the station. I envisage it as a Zero G cargo transportation tube, maybe with a few tractor arrays, or, if they can fit, capable of flying the Workbees down hehe. Basically something big enough to move large objects/machinery for repairs etc.

this may have been posted before, but is the pluto station part of your own sci-fi world or is it fit into something like trek?
