Very nice Andrew. I guess it will be another few years before we get another almost full station render

I actually hadn't realised you'd made that much of it. Very impressive even without the sections you say are missing from those shots.

I'll say it here to Andrew :P it's coming along beautifully, even if it's taken what 2 years now :P your starting to remind me of a certain other person and his sailing ship hehehe. still as I can atest to this thing is beautiful and believe me when i say he's done a great job on the modeling.. the sections i've had the privillage of viewing in mesh format are great.. and he's taught me more then a thing or two from watching this beast be built. (for which I'm very greatful because it allows some really nice sub-d/CatClark work to be done).

Haha, maybe I will start dropping in some Ducks and Nomad Probes in

I have made all of the mesh, it's just it's being rebuilt in stages, the final stage is really proving to be hard work! SO much detail hehe.

Falin: Haven't been hired yet Close but no Cigar! I could do a low poly proxy for reflections and such, but then that'd mean making one, which could be just a huge load of work as it is!

and Rob, glad I could help out. If anyone's looking for pointers on anything, just ask!

Cheers guys, I am glad you like it, and no, the avatar is not changing, because people keep asking!

Visit my Endless Pluto Station project, I'm still working on it, honest!

Managed to get a stabilised render out. Still having major problems with wierd black banding, but this came out perfect, and in record time! (well 2.5 hours, but that's fast with reflection blur hehe)

More panely goodness - it's slow going doing panels on a horrible curve like this!
