Looking very good!

BTW, are you doing all of this just as regular polygon modeling or are you using NURBS and such?

it's all square and boxy modeling..why would you use nurbs?...

haha cheers Starship

As for Modelling in SeanR - I only use polygons. Lightwave doesn't do NURBS.. It does do subdivision surfaces, which I often use to create certain things for the station, but I usually freeze them before I use them, as you can't put details on SubD's easily! I don't think there'd be much benefit modelling it in Nurbs, because there's no horrible compound curves, which do lend themselves to that type of modelling!

As to HOW I model, hmm that's hard to explain, and not exactly efficient, but it is clean!

Visit my Endless Pluto Station project, I'm still working on it, honest!

You've forced me to re-evaluate my 3d skills and I've decided to quit.

OK, maybe not.

But you set an awfully damn high bar.

So are you going to be modeling panels and screw heads and such on the inside?

Haha no the modelling is quite efficient, mostly because it HAS to be! I can't be too silly with polygons, as there's quite a bit of model to render

Here's some quick wires to give you a clue about how I model... a little bit more informative than the last one hehe

Cheers

Nothing I've done is particularly complex, there's just lots of it.. lots and lots of it - and it's all booleaned together It's just the same thing over and over, not magical tools
