Wow.

That's fancy. Reminds me a bit to a more intense version of the Voyager-core. Sweet job.

It's a tough look, but I am going for something between TMP and Voyager, but it's hard to do in 3d, that's all done with motion blur! so it's hard to controll the density and luminosity, without endless re-rendering GAH It's hard breaking up the CG look though!

Cheers guys!

Cheers Starship. Yeah it needs to be tweaked here and there, but controlling it is like herding cats.. the nodes are a bit scary to look at, but I can post a screenshot.. if you can make heads or tails of it

Cheers Freak!

As requested, here's a shot of my surface LOL - it's actually a complex setup.. the surface is projected onto an object which rapidly oscillates it's shape (much like the spinning light technique, if you LWers are familiar with it) I'm using the new photoreal motion blur in LW 9.2+ so it's capturing the shape as it moves through a space, creating a volumetric effect. It's inside some glass, which is slightly smoky, giving it a slightly fuzzy look too

oh and here's a new test, but only tiny, because my work machine is puny compared to my home one
