Oh I dunno, I'll take odds on the guy in an armoured bunker full of nukes, over the guy 3000 miles away with a blunt flint knife, any day

Knowing how to use the tools properly and fixing all the errors, even when you do, is the trick!

I spend FAR too much time making these models very clean and booleaned together. Still, there is a lot I still don't know how to do!

It's all a learning excercise!

Cheers Freak. It was a test, I shall be updating all my surfaces to reflective surfaces soon. Should make it look totally pimped out

Bah- get out there and work for ILM or something- they'll still pay ****e, but at least you'll be able to camp out on the render farm.

Couldn't you composite together a pic of the whole station using separate renders? It's a pity to put all this work into it, but not be able to show it off in all its glory.

Yup I could, but that would create issues for occlusion and radiosity, and a compositing mare, because a lot of it has sections you can see directly through!

Well while I was out at the cinema, I managed to shoot off a render, a little bigger this time!
