Some renders of the two-man pod. It increase the overall size of the ship a lot. Honman1, any thoughts? I prefer the single seat myself.

I like the two-seat configuration but it does change the scale a lot making it very "roomy" inside the bubble area.

Looks like the two seater it is then.

After some ideas from Honman1, we've come up with the following configuration.

what do you think?

I'm liking it.

Much closer to the scale I was envisioning... Other than moving the rear pilot down
just a bit (a couple of inches to scale) I'd say you got it.

After saying that, what do you think?

(Now I know you're going to say, It's your design... But this part really isn't.
My design had the pilot bumping his head on the canopy)

(And as always... I may not be comprehending what you're trying to communicate, or... I MAY JUST BE WRONG.)-:shiner:

Have I said that too often then

I'll move the rear guy down a touch (stop him banging his head when he gets in and out of his chair)

I still need to work out how they get into their chairs from the hatch, I may introduce a sliding platform in the canopy to enable them to take their seats and then have it retract too enable an all round view.

At some point I'll want to put the figures in more appropriate outfits as well, have you any designs for suits, helmets etc...

Feel the fear and do it anyway

Have an idea for the flight suits... nothing to show yet. I'll work on it.

Not much to update at the moment. I've rescaled the pilot/gunner and moved them around a bit. I've also changed the front of the guns a bit, just angled the tips (what do you think).

I've also had an idea how the pilot and gunner can get in/out of the canopy. My idea is that the seats retract into the main body of the pod, the pilot and gunner then take they positions and the seats move into the flight position. I've include a quick animation (in .mov format) to show my thinking.

Let me know what you think.
