Armondikov the length is intentional, the neck is hinged so that the gund pod can be pointed directly behind (or any angle inbetween). I don't think the TB3 resemblance is intentional, we'd have to ask Honman1.

Feel the fear and do it anyway

That's a really nice model
I could say that it looks too fragile but ... that's sci-fi, right ? And being a fictional model, I can't judge it like a real thing The panels are really cool and the small details are very good also. The only part I would change a bit is the front "glass bubble" because it looks almost funny (for reasons unknown to me ).

Fitter, Happier And More Productive ...

Looking great.

...any resemblance to thunderbird 3 is unintentional...

The only seat I've been able to find is an F-16 ejection seat... haven't done
anything with it. My drawing computer is down at the moment

(And as always... I may not be comprehending what you're trying to communicate, or... I MAY JUST BE WRONG.)-:shiner:

I've had a go a redesigning the pilot/gunners seat. I'm thought I'd go with a more open/light weight design (sort of like a modern office chair). My thoughts are that the seat itself won't be solid (as it is in the renders) but will be perferated (or perhaps transparent). The renders are of a rough design or any comments/ideas are welcome (feel free to post images etc...).

Thanks.
