Stargate - Daedalus Refit

Side project during my free time between projects and real life work.

I'm trying to make just about everything as accurate as I can minus some panel work which I'm doing to mix things up a bit from the original model in the show.

Textures are pretty much rough temps using a map I found on my HDD.... believe it goes along with either MAX or the Pegasus which is downloadable here on SFM.

Anyway, enjoy the show; more to come!

Yes, but they are very minor. Such as the front there on the "wings". In the show, they run a little more forward and are a little bit thicker. Also the Antennas, or whatever the hell they are; are slightly different with a different placement. Also note the 2 extra missile bays. There are 16 in show and 18 on this model.

This ship does come with a majority of the original asgard upgrades such as energy weapons and some new shielding stuff (will be noticeable on the model itself with it's new generators)

I guess the Daedalus bug is running threw sci-fi meshes with so many started and on the go right now.

Looks like a good start and looking at your past ships I'm sure it will look great when it's finished.

Ah that looks like the old B5 hull maps that shipped with early max versions. (dont think 9 has it anymore, least not the full set)

A bit grainy. It will be intresting to see what you do with the rest of her in the creative aspec.

Not my personal favorite design, but it does have lots of greebly bits to play with, and I'm sure you'll do them justice.

Kinda says something about your level of intensity, though, to take a break from your Strikestar by working on a ship that has, if anything, even more detail pieces.

Rock on, dude!

I like the texture you're using for the panelling..... Can i be cheeky and ask if i can use it on my SG ship?.

Love the attention to detail you've put into the ship.
