I asked BJ early on if he would be cool with me using some of his ideas. He has 2 designs I'm quite fond of:

I agree the MKII colors sell it, but I also want to do a version where I can weather it and, well, dirty it down like an x-wing. With 120 battlestars in the fleet just prior to the attack, I'm sure there were many different color schemes in common use.

I used Bank Gothic on that.

Apparently I have the number of posts to a page set up differently, so this isn't showing up right for me. I assume these were what you were referring to?

Found it. Thanks.

That would be them. On one hand I like the red lines. But the blue-grey would look good it it were stressed and weathered like a jet from a carrier. Larsen did a render of a group flying that had a bit of both qualities.

I started thinking about a bomber in space. A bomb falls towards it's target, yet in space nothing falls as it would if influenced by gravity. So How would a bomber function? This is my first stab at it.

PS - I like the new site theme Aceman.

I like the blue grey colours and that tomcat style colour,

the mk2 colour scheme doesnt seem to suit it in my eyes.

Oh shadowman would you mind giving out the rough gap sizes on the panel work, im wanting to get a similar result with my own fighter, thanks

AH....sweet man...

I have to clear this up tho... it was Andreew March that did that awsome render - allso to be found at my webpage

Maybe you're right... I was org going for the carrier style weathering and colorscheme... might be cool to stick to that!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
