Armor plates you can already see on the pictures - those dark grey parts of the hull.

Ozylot, this ship already has two (!) hangar bays. But, taking size of this ship into account, they are too small, so you cannot see them. But on the final picture I'm planning to do some tricks to show most of the ship on the picture

Very nice. Although you might want to elevate the two second turrets a bit more so that they can also fire straight forward. (at least it looks as if they can't rght now)
I like the mixture of boxy space ship with some old WWII navy elements like the turrets.
louder is better (what did you say?)
