You've got the point! This is what I've being thinking of! As for turrets - they should shoot only sideways. There will be some front-sphere guns later and scene, where they will fire.

Well the artwork here is beautiful..Whatever program you are working in has done your imagination justice. And I think it does have a very U.S.S. Sulaco feel to it but that merely compliments the design.

My only crits are on the design not the render as is so far..and this is strictly personal taste, is the turrets are too "uberesque". If I'm envisioning the scale properly the barrels on those babies have to be about 4 feet in diameter. It just seems the beauty and sleek form of the design gets broken up by the oversized guns...I'd also like to see the bridge get some more attention. It too looks too big to me...It gives the ship to much of a "supertanker" look and that spoils it's military theme. But the hull and detail are just awesome! I love the black and grey hull paint scheme.

I'm afraid, that you are right... those turrets come from an older version of this battleship, so I really need to work on them, thanks!

Sadly, my work takes much more time, than I expected. Still - got some time during holidays for some sci-fi 3D. Here's an engine section - just a basic hull with basic greeble - hope to make some nice details soon.
