| Rather no Deuterium. The containers are extremely vulnerable by now and since Deuterium is the primary fuel and equally flammable as Hydrogen, this could easily blow the whole saucer section to smithereens. |

| I don't think a transporter like this would be very efficient, maybe a small mobile refinery that is empty until it reaches the source of the mineral and it is armed and has powerfull shields, could mostly be used in conflict zones or uncertain regions until secure transport lines and facilities are put in place. Or a mobile mineral laboratory that goes where no shuvle has gone before and take samples from newly discovered planets. Although these theries are nice they still don't fit exactly with the ship... |
