Wow i am speachless, this is really great work

Maybe you should try to optimize that scene or try to render the whole scene in layers if you have the possibilitys, cause 20hours of rendering is extreme!

Thanks for updating the link. I wanted to see this. I agree with the tie fighter movement. I also noticed the X-wing movement isn't very smooth when it turns to engage the tie fighters. It looks like it lurches forward and doesn't bank for the turn. It could just be a perspective thing.

I really like the sense of scale with the big ships. Good job.

My guide entry used to just say "Clueless."
Now it says, "Mostly Clueless."

Yes, I forgot to set the spline interpolation to "uniform". That ruins the X-wing movement
The lesson is learnt for next time

Thanks for the comment!

Just discovered this thread and I like the pictures.

Escena2render.mov is nice. Makes me one to watch the original "Return of the Jedi", if I can find it (I can't stand the altered one).

Savefile says "file not found".

i love the angle you chose for the chapital ships over the planet and paralax of them- sweetness. The xwing that turns to pursue the ties does seem to not turn all that realistically. I love it though!

2d art is treated as a bastard child in 3D forums.
There are cultures on this planet that are just plain not ready for advanced technologies like explosives and automatic guns

I[t] aint gritty enough! I think you're on to something though!

Also, take into consideration the manueverability of the vehicles you are dealing with. (watch the original movies again, just another excuse, really)

Great job!
