What dont u like about the revised edition? I agree, GL should have put the original verson on DVD for fans, but i dont really see a difference. (except CGI). Good work, DS, cant wait 2 see this fiished

It's the alteration of films to try and update them to current standards. Even the Star Trek remastered ones fail and the original series. I prefer originals. George should have just remade them.

And CBS should have just commissioned a new Trek series instead of destroying a classic or at least restored the original including the effects. The CGI Enterprise is just wrong in so many ways.

Well, I like the 1997's version of Star Wars IV, V, VI more than the original , but also more than the DVD version. (And the original version has actually been put on DVD for fans... )

Oh, and they said that the Battle of Endor was so well done that they didn't make alterations to it in any remastered version, so... what you see in the new DVDs is the original.

I don't know so much about StarTrek, so I'll let that discussion to you, hehe.

By the way, the files were deleted from SaveFile servers due to inactivity, so don't try to download them from there

Again, thank you very much for the comments.

Some of the additions and changes i agree with, but Han and Jabba, Han and Greedo, sheesh. That's a topic for another post though.

The thing i wished they would do to the Battle of Endor is more rebel ships going into and coming out of hyperspace before the battle.
During combat 3 or 4 Mon Cals can be seen getting blown up, but we only see one Mon Cal and Home one coming out of hyperspace. Just a nitpick.

Good times.

Best,
-Paul

LOL, so someone still visits my thread

Yes, if I finish this project some day, I'll add more calamari cruisers, 'cause there should be at least a dozen or so in that battle. I'll put them in angles that are "out of camera" in the movies, and I have some of the shots in my head...

Thanks for the comment

EDIT:

Oh, I added the animation to YouTube, but the quality is very poor. Just if one's interested.

Very nice looking! A few more scenes like that all pieced together and you've really got something great going on!
