When i get some time over the weekend i will put something together. I have to admit that the actual modeling is probably not groundbreaking, rather the concept of the design and general design principles and theory that I put into practice.

it may be an idea to have a thread where we could all write short pieces on our design theories, influences and reasoning behind what we have made our designs the way they are. I did write something similar once and posted it on Lancers Reactor or a sister site when I was building mod models for Freelancer, when i started i nthis whole 3d thing years ago.

Back in those days i used a combination of Milkshape modeling and POVRay rendering but since i got my hands on Maya I haven't looked back. I'll try not to make any tutorials too application specific but there are techniques I don't know whether they will translate to other apps but perhaps others maybe able to suggest alternative methods to the 3DS/Cinema 4D etc... crowd

More news as events warrent

Bo
