I think the phaser strips are a bit too red.

Is this design smaller than the Danube-class vessel used on the show? 'Cause that phaser strip seems pretty large. I like those running lights, they're cool.

From the first post.

I think this is bigger than the runnabout they ended up using, but then we never really saw people walking around them, as they never built a full sized one.

Actually they built half of the ship. it was used for when the cast where getting in and out of the ship when on a planet. I think it was using in only 12 eps or so. The one that stand out for me, is when O’Brian and Bashir are on a planet, and have to finds a quire for the Jem’adar. So they no longer need the whitering, or whatever it was call.

ketracel white. i think its called "hippocratic oath" if im not mistaken. beg of season 2 or three. Offic, i think a standard runabout is roughly 4 times the size of a late-tng shuttlecraft.

@bio: good start, although i think the nacelles could be a "little" bigger

a danube-class runabout has an overall length of 23.1 m. this isn't canon, but as i'm building one i found that these figures are correct. this sketch always looked a bit smaller than that to me.

i wonder how you'll design the bottom...

btw. imo the temporary textures makes it look worse than it is, a plain grey would be better...

Dang, sitting at a computer after surgery. I hope you have a comfortable chair.

Looks great. I'm really liking this design better and better as you progress. I'm even liking it better than the Runabouts from the show.

Lying down would be worse for me at the moment.

Might rest up for a bit now though.
