^ That would be Oliver Twist. It actually a book by Charles Dickens. But the have hundreds of movies and TV movies of it. I think even Jim Henderson Muppets have covered it.

wow, looks fantastic man.

the curved head really makes it unique and the armor plating adds to it being like a fast mean ship

good job!

smallworld,

Terrific design! I love, love and love those cutaway views, and how frequently you insert a starfighter and/or a human model into the image so we can clearly comprehend the scale of the Vidette. It really sets a whole new standard in regards to drumming community support.

It looks cool and canon enough to compel me to want to see it make a major appearance in my two favorite BSG mods, BSG Beyond the Red Line for FreeSpace 2 and BSG Fleet Commander for Homeworld 2. I'm not part of the design team in any way, but I'm certainly going to ask them to take a gander at your beautiful ship.

I'm hoping that the Beyond the Red Line community will like your design enough to "overlook" a design weakness that they found in my design proposal, and perhaps ask your permission to put it into the game. It seems that having the landing bay sandwiched between two enormous engine pods would make a landing approach extremely, uh..."challenging" to those pilots who don't want to get shredded by the exhaust wake of the ship or cooked into ash from the flames' plumes proper. It took me a bit to accept their logic, but accept it I did. Bummer.

If you want to see their feedback to my design, go here: Phoenix class battlecruiser - Game Warden Forums

Nevertheless, your design is very cool. Keep up the great work!

I never really looked too good at this model...too bad I didn't do that sooner...I REALLY like it with the armor plating. Makes it look like a woodlouse or sow bug. I'm kinda trying to do that to my models...except I ain't very good at it! Started modelling less than 2 weeks ago!

I really like the renders too...they present the model very well...
