I guess really she's more of a toddler now, seeing as she's 2

Well for some reason I didn't get much done over the last week - but I have now got the wing pattern looking about right I think - it's slightly less thick too. There is more to do to it, and the bottom pattern is just the base top pattern at the moment, but I may move on to a different area for a while now.

I need to locate the pivot point for the wings so I can get the shape of the wing half of the hinges correct... might focus on that next. And the lower hull will definitely need a rebuild.

Lots of bits and pieces to add here and there, but those wing pannels are sreally starting to come together. Keep up the good work!

Cheers people.

Well, I decided to tackle the rebuild of that lower hull - took me a few attempts with variations of proportions of the individual elements of it until I got something I was happy with (I eventually came to the conclusion that the central trench around the hull was not tall enough). Anyway, this I think was the fifth revision, but it's pretty much right now as far as I can tell. Obviously the transition to the single element at the stern is not complete yet but that's a minor thing now. The neck will need to be replaced as it is not correct, and that conduit is too slender right now, but she's back on track at least! I'll replace those flaps on the lower hull soon as they aren't right yet, and are at the wrong angle anyway.

Looking fine Is the 'head' part final though? It looks like it could get a bit of refinement...at least that cylinder does.

The cylinder part there is not quite right yet, you're right. It's a tiny bit too tall at the moment, but then I had it positioned based on that neck conduit which was placed a little too low down before. The front part of it is pretty final though. One thing I did change there, but you can't see it in that shot, is the shape of the bridge dome. It was slightly too 'pointy' when viewed from the side before. There are a couple of other areas that may be treated to a spot of FFD before I start detailing them
