blender Interdictor frigate WIP

Hi guys...

This is my first work in a long long time.
I decided to pick up blender again to improve my 3D skills... wich sucked in the past.
Its a little boxy now... but thats how I work since it a concept for basic shaping. I will try to finish this one... hopefully with all your help :P
Oh by the way... don't expect texturing... that a whole different world I don;t understand yet.

Anyway...
enjoy and feel free to critic...
I could use some help.
BUT be patient... since I noticed I have a lot to learn when I see all the work here.

Neat! I like the overall approach to the shape. Let's see it fleshed out some? Pretty please?

blender

Ok.

Here is a little update.
I added some kinda bridge module, Torpedo launcher, guns,...
Modified the shape of the primary hull a little.

anyway... I not quiet happy with the engine hull and the wings. don't really know if I will keep it like it is. I was thinking to do more like a "bird of prey" kinda aft-section.

any suggestions, examples, comments?

blender

not really an update on the ship itself expect some minor little adjustments.

Anyway. I wanted to greeble it and thus started to create some basic greebles I could use over and over again. I got carried away and started to combine. I guess thats what you guys all do... combine some basic shapes.

here is what I combined so far... I started with a circel and a cube... a few hours later... is what you see in the pic.

since I'm open source minded I'm even offering it to the community :P

ok... and now I should continue working on my ship.
