Stargate | Redemption
-The Story-
After 22 years of Ori conquests, the human race have to face a new threat, now in the Andromeda galaxy. From nothing, the reworns appear, and from system to system they slowly begin to rule the whole galaxy. The innumerable tries to stop them, only resulted bloody failures. It seemed there's nothing to stop the alien hord, when an accidentical discovery awoked new hope in the lines of resisters. But time works againts them, the time of the final, all-judging fight is approaching. It will bring redeeming or the ultimate destruction.

Hi everybody!

With this litle story, we want to start a tiny forum for our upcoming film, Stargate:Redemption. You will find all information, picture, or animation related to the project.

The animation is totally a fan-work. So, naturally it will be freely accessible to everybody, after it's complete. The coming out is estimated to august, 2008. Hopefully we can meet the deadline. The length of the movie will be approximately 20 or 30 minutes.

Attention! We looking for sync-voices for the movie! So, who feels enough courage, and want to participate in the project, denote here, in the forum! Details will be discussed later. In the comment mark the role wanted: Captain, officer, fighter pilot, etc.

Well, the firs ship what i will show you in this thread is the USS Icarus progeny of the famous Daedalus class Deep Space Carrier. This new construction is mutch more powerful and has the ability to carry all the "cruiser-class" weapon platforms. So this is a really bad guy.
I've crated some minor modifications on the hull to achieve a mutch more dangerous looks.
The basic concept was Iguanas idea, he will also active in this thread, he modelling a new Ancient warsip...

I will render some orthos from the Dauntless, just be patient...

If the dauntless was anything to go by then this thread is going to be fun to follow.

Speaking of voices, i can't do voices for toffee, but my brother can. He expressed an interest in this when i commented to him. I'll get him to look at the further details when they arrive to see if he's still interested or not.

Hi!

I brought out the Anteus again. Now, I proceeded to this stage: bared the old model.
Some greeble remained, and the hull in main. But later I would like to work on that too...
I had an idea to upload 2 picture, showing how the ship looks like now, after mayhem
Shortly new images will come. I begin work on the hull right now.

I'm interested in your opinion. Was it good enough to bring it out and work on it again?

indeed it was. but i'd get rid of the images in the background, unless it's stuff from the same ship. right now, they are distracting.
also, go with less round shapes. i don't recall a round shape in the main shape of the hull on the aurora class, so why would there be one on a ship similiar to it?
