This is looking pretty good.

Its prob just me , but does it look a little chunky?
I do aplogise if that is accurate hull-wise, there is just something i can't quite put my finger on.

Prob looks bigger than it does due to no nacelles on it yet

thats exactly what I was thinking DR-Timelord, only, I was trying to find a ,ore tactful way of putting it, suffice it to say, I failed.

You got teh shape much better than me. Your mesh looks much more close to the original than mine... Congrats!
I think I´ll need to improve my (unfinished) version.

second hull looks good, as you said.. needs some smoothing here and there.. but the basic shape looks spot on.. keep up the good work..

with mine...sheesh.. the eng hull was and still is a bastard.. still could go back and correct it again after...5-6 diferent meshes and i don't know how long trying to correct each one... testemony to my modeling skill. good but needs some work

Wherever you go.. there you are:p

and the journey continues...

Dr-Timelord - CHUNKY?!?! why i outta... ! ! heheh... I think i know what you mean... but i think its more of the depth and perspective of that render. I tried my best to match it to several reliable sources and from different angles it looks less bulky.

Well... as the dust settles about in my new career, and with my family. I now have a bit more time now to continue work on some hobbies, including this model.

now for the updates... and again yes i know about some of the segments... i have already started working on those in a few areas.

In some of the detail parts below [and overall; the ship itself] some parts and details had to be speculated, assumed, or improvised. If anyone sees any detail errors and have photos to show how it 'should' be... then it would be again appreciated. And special thanks to Roliba for letting me use his renders as reference to the rear torpredo launcher.

... and thanks for all the comments all! They are most welcome

Very cool mesh. Amazing details and loving the little touches.

What program are you modelling this in and will you be releasing the mesh for download when your done?
