Fascinating... I like it...

I went to the site you posted, but I didn't see the other ship designs. Can you show what they look like as well?

Intrigueing....definately an interesting reuse of the Prometheus-Class hull & Nebula-Class module.

The SC² link? No, you're right, there are no ships posted there, only a building

Suricata over at ST-O.net mentioned that he likes the deflector better without the Intrepid style deflector. Does anyone share that opinion? The shield grid didn't fit good enough so it's already history, anyone got an idea what else to use as shield grid?

IMHO, and it doesn't count for much, but the design is terrific. I'd say to include whatever you like. I imagine in the trek universe that the same class of ship can have different styles of things like deflectors, mostly based on it's mission. Study some other ships and see if there's a style that strikes your fancy...

As for a shield grid, I'm sure your "mad skills" are better than mine, so any advice on a shield grid I could give would be meaningless...

Actually, I'd ask if you'd be offended if I used your designs for inspiration... I like it that much...

What are the little thingies around the deflector? Other sensors?

About the grip; they're to intense. They must be thinner. Softer.

My only change would be not to use an oval shape. Use the Voy concept, but make it to flow the lines of the sensor cave in your ship.

yeah Aresius, they're extra sensor thingies. Starship... I think I'm going to go with Suricata, I like it better without the dish. I had some ideas for deflectors but they're all slipstream deflectors so those are out of the question. We'll see...

Anyway, the render of tonight failed because VISTA thought it was wise to install previously downloaded updates. *profound cursing* After I started again, it failed at 5%, probably because it's a motherf*cking huge image (station, ship, 3 workbees and a ****load of lights) so I'll have to figure out a way to redo it. In the works

Yay! The render worked at last, not as good as I hoped but it's a start This is an older version of the ship but I had the two halves pasted together so I thought this was a better idea than to let my PC crash alltogether. Not that my Vista laptop holds it's own a lot, though >(
