| SFM Nugget | yeah my method is similar to nightshadows for the texture as far as using noise maps, but i start with a falloff map, set perpendicular/parallel to darken the edges of the object, then a turbulence noise map for the smoke, and inside that a fractal noise map to detail the smoke. works pretty nicely. and it does have windows, you just cant see em yet. theyre all on the rim of the saucer. the smoothing error i know about though, i just forgot to turn the smooth modifier on the saucer back on. |

| SFM Nugget | quite welcome decided to put together an actual image with the ship so far. thought it came out interesting enough to post, though not perfect so its not going in the finished area, but you all can check it out ![]() ![]() |

| SFM Oracle | Not the right angle between ship and planet. Looks as if it would hav started from the planets surface. But an interesting image of the ship nonetheless. |
