| SFM Guru | I dunno, flight bays are basically big empty spaces, so unless an engine is placed on the primary hull everything else down in the nacelles will have to be ubermassive. Maybe put an engine up there just make it more in keeping with the design of the others. |

| All Sketched Up!!! | I thought about that...but it just doesn't look good....let me dwell on this. Though I suck (nubism) at 3D I'm a pretty good designer...I'll come up with something creative to resolve the issue though I may just go with some kind of technobabble. Also the aft section of the primary hull will also have a large flight bay in it as well... |

| SFM Guru | Nice work, the model looks very promising and your rendering in Kerkythea looks good. We use Sketchup at work sometimes, when architects send us buildings or concepts for them, it's a pretty cool program and with many more uses than most people would give it credit for. The interface and the tools are what really set it apart for me they're easily understandable right from the off. If I think about all the money I spent on books for 3DS Max just to understand the interface it makes me a tiny bit agitated to think that I can just pick up another program and produce the same kind of models without having to read 300 pages. I can't wait to see the model finished. |

| render For the rendering, there is a smoothing option you can use and it is adjustable. If you look in the tutorials on this site you will find one by borgman. He helped me when i also got stuck with sketchup. Keep up the good work from a fellow sketchup user. |

| I really like the ship design! Nice work on the modeling so far too. I actually like the way the renders look right out of sketch up too. Keep up the nice work! |
