Notice how the Registry Fonts and Bridge module is similar to thoes used on the Refitted Connies. Also the "NCC 1701 registry" seems pretty close to the saucer edge, about 1 deflector grid off. Cant wait to see the rest of this ship in the movies, 11 more months to go!

it's under construction, the nacalle end cap aren't on it yet. I think they left them off to show us the fan blades tht made the collectors rotate.

I didn't like seeing the Aztec pattern either.

Hm, you could be right, although the idea of a nacelle with an open front makes a lot of sense to me. We see them suck in gas now and then yet they appear solid.

By the way, did I mention I really like the ship this thread is actually about. It's really good, it captures all the qualities of the original design without breaking any of it, it would have been a great choice for the remastered episodes. The phaser bank turrets could use just the slightest bit more detail, on the other hand it might be too much.

Stunning work has always Vektor.

Can't wait to see a fly-around video of it.

Realize it's still; under construction. What you're seeing is the rotating blades behind the (yet to be installed) nacelle caps. That's actually pretty damned cool, IMO - we finally get to see what they look like inside. ;-)

Vektor, you hit this one out of the park and right into orbit! Nice work.

Looks great Vektor. This is such a subtle refinement it looks like a minor refit that could have happened between year three and The Motion Picture. Really sharp.
