I'm sure Maxwell Render is very good, but it's also about $1,000. Mental Ray comes free with Max.

Max A great work...

I can't say how much I'm pleased to see your's Enterprise version. She is beautifull.

If I had to vote for one to be used on the new film my vote will be yours.

The original Enterprise from TOS series was made to be a model. Not much detailed because of the costs and easier to be made on wood and plastic. After that Enterprise-D was a little plastic too.

If we look at Enterprises B and E we can see on other hand starships more detailed than the first 3 starships.

But in other hand if we take the NX-01 Enterprise design... she is a lot more rich on details.

May be they, the producers, will go on this way. Just thinking about. But, honestly, I'll prefer your work. You added details but you keep this old beautifull lady elegant and gracious.

Well done.

I like this one because it's really just the original design with more detail. Which, I suppose, goes to show that it really holds up.

Vektor - this mesh is outstanding.

You've managed to take something old, and make it look new and bright. I would love to see this used on the big screen...

You know, I could actually stand it if this design was used for the new movie's Enterprise. It looks advnaced enough for modern audiences but could still prgress into the TOS version through various refits.

This Enterprise, is the thing that I expected for TOS-R

Looks wonderful, but there small thing that i dislike a bit ... the lack the shield grid, a bit more rounded secondary hull, and the deflector dish which holes. But in any case, it's wonderful and i will happy of seeing something similar on the big screen in 2008.
