Just playing around with the settings for Kerkythea. Applied a reflective surface on the face matterial and didn't realize that it was so reflective that the ships underside would be completely reflected off the back of the small craft bay and reflected off the upper structure as well (zoom in and you can see the control room windows from the "outside". Then there is the cool reflections of the bays strip lights to the left and right of the pic. And the red lights in the rooms ceiling are actually reflections of the lights behind the camera view and there is no ceiling but the wall goes up for about a meter above the windows. The lights are being reflected off the floor and the back wall. Is it any wonder it took 8 hours to render And that is with 2 graphic cards and 8 gigs on a 64 bit system

The far right window is really warping the bay view as well.

Here is a view from just in front of the small craft bay looking forward. Still have the reflective material.

You can see the bays strip lighting relfected under the boat bay control room.

I finally put the Grendel together (mirrored the half I did and then joined the two halves). Any other detail will now be added while they are together.

I finally figured out how to copy an object as many times as I want and put it in a cirlce. So now there is an engine on the Grendel that is actually round
