Did some more work on the hospital ship. Thinking that a hospital ship that size would have a few open areas where patients (and crew) could enjoy a bit of nature. So I have an atrium built into the front of the ship in the upper sail. I've also tried to play around with lights. Have a couple in the atrium and above it as well as a couple of spotlights in the hangar area. But I'm having some trouble with the light coming through the side of the ship.

Aresius: Thanks ![]() korborak: Thank you too! SketchUp is pretty much as it sounds, used for quick sketches though I've seen some pretty amazing things done with it. So I have decided to do a couple or renders with three people and some trees and bushes in the arboretum to give a better sense of scale. I can tell you it is 900m tall, 400m long and 100m wide but what does it look like with a human for scale? Freaking huge. That is my answer ![]() Once the renders were done I deleted the figures and trees as it made things a little slow for my liking. I also found out why I had that light on the side of the ship. A rogue light that I must have placed totally by accident was the cause. It is gone and things look better. I also fixed some mesh issues but have others that I am a little stumped on. Well I can say that I have learned more doing this stuff in the last few days than I have for months I still want to learn blender though but I am content right now to work on this stuff in SketchUp for now.

Did a tiny bit on the MDS Iron Sun. Added some structure to the bridge and a little shape to the engine section. I want to do cutouts on that part later.

Thanks Aresius ![]() Well did a tiny bit on the forward face of the bridge (pic 6) but for the most part all I did was put in the landing and take off bays. They are a through and through type.
