| Sabre Program Director | Thanks for all the comments, everyone! Now that you mention it, the hammerhead really does look like the Pitch Black aliens -- I hadn't noticed that when I first built it. Kenetor, I'm going to be leaving the spheroid section, as it (were the ship real) contains the facilities and support structures for the vessel's fusion generators. Those bumps you see around the spheroid are the deuterium tanks, mounted semi-externally for the reasons of A) The cold of space helps keep the deuterium in liquid form B) Easy access for refueling and maintenance Anyway, here's my last update for the night. I worked a little bit on the engine pods some more, made a couple of windows, and added some hull panels. Cheers, everyone! Nick |

| aye its your ship, i made a quick pic to show you what i mean, the sphere you have is the only smooth bit on your ship, everything else has hard edges and corners. on a side note, is fuel tanks on the outside wise? Kenetor |

| Dude...I love your design approach...Its like a starving-skinny hammerhead battle cruiser from the SC universe ![]() I think you need to add a number of connecting structures between parts of your mesh...that will make it truly unique. |

| Sabre Program Director | Well, it's time for another update, everyone! Kenetor, I see now what you're saying about the fusion-reactor module, and so I went ahead and implemented your idea. I have to say it looks a LOT better. So thanks for your idea. Other updates include a module that connects the port and starboard engine clusters together, and a reworking of some hull plating on the hammerhead. I've been playing around with the lighting as well to improve my render times and get rid of all those wierd shadows. Cheers, Nick |

| Sabre Program Director | And again, some more updates. I'll be adding more hull plating and windows soon, and cutting into the hull some more. I think I've also improved on my lighting technique. Thoughts? Cheers, Nick |

| Sabre Program Director | More updates. Some hull plating, and some name plating. This'll probably be the last update tonight. Cheers, Nick |
