Neverending WIP: Ships of the Aiyaniadan Dynasty

This is my new project since I (finally, once again) have recovered from yet another system crash. Now that everything's installed, and my dual-core machine is now online, I can finally get something done. I'm modelling in Lightwave 9.2, and I have no idea how to do texturing yet (we'll cross that bridge when we come to it)

I'm still learning certain modelling techniques, but this will hopefully be an ok WIP (also, with any luck, I'll actually complete this one, too. )

So, without further ado, here's the A.E.V. Revelations of the Dawn.

Cheers,
Nick

Some more. Did some work with the engines, and added a reactor heatsink.... thing.

Nice design. Imagine the number of possible configurations for that class.

The hammerhead bow is a nice touch.

Keeping my eyes on this one.

I agree with everyone - it looks very unique and just plain cool. One of the nicer original designs I have seen lately. It reminds me a bit of the Star Wars Blockade Runner Keep up the good work.

That's an interesting ship.

See the Shadows of Darkness, Hear the Scream of Cruelty...

That's why I've became a Warrior of Heart, Defend the one you like, Guard the one you love...

first thing that came to mind also!

looks like a very interesting ship although im not sure if the rounded parts fit with the ship maybe lower the sections down on the sphere (and turn off smooth) to make it look more edged, maybe lose the bumps on the main sphere.
